Brooklyn Heat Wave

Having visited New York a few times a year for the past ten years, I haven’t actually been to Brooklyn since 2001. The area has definitely changes since then, and while in New York for work a month ago I finally had the opportunity to experience the hype. Although we choose to do the bridge walk at the same time as the rest of the world, it was absolutely worth it. The overcast gave the skyline such a stunning light and the view breathtaking. I was there during the September heat wave, and as I am a naturally an over heated creature, my wardrobe selection was chosen from a heat survival perspective.

Luckily I remembered to check the temperature before I went, and managed to pack my go-to comfy dress that just works in any occasion. I got this t-shirt dress from COS, as a desperate impulse buy during the summer heat wave in Oslo. Although I doesn’t really translate in these pictures, it has such a chic and versatile cut. I usually style it without a belt and it works perfectly with ankle or knee high boots. The comfortable, yet luxurious, shiny cotton fabric somehow surprisingly seems to turn heads, as I am constantly complimented on it, when wearing it.

Being a sucker for minimalistic scandi style, I have recently developed a new found love for COS, and this fall collection is so strong! My bag is also a from there, and one of my best purchases all year. As I travel a lot and need to bring my Mac and camera everywhere, so I needed a sturdy and roomy bag. After some extensive online research I discovered this perfectly minimal looking and super practical leather bag. Compared to everything else I found in this quality, I have to say that the price point is very, very good. I promise this post is not sponsored by COS, I´m just a happy customer, lol.
