I am a sucker for fall, knit, autumnal colors, orange leaves, and crisp air. For the past months I have kept busy traveling a lot and working my ass off, but finally, it is time to start blogging again. I have been so excited to go independent, without a platform with set designs and limitations. It´s been a long time coming, and a reason for me not loving my blog. Maybe I also got a little exhausted by the overload of new trends and hypes that comes with the constant input from social media. My style, I guess has evolved, maybe as a result of this fashion overload, but in the end that change has for me been inspiring.

I have sold and recycled most of my closet, only opting for quality, timeless and minimal pieces. I have started to cherish my clothes and developed a closet that consists of clothes that can all be combined to create, in my eyes beautiful looks, without any fuss. As always comfort is still the most important factor in my wardrobe and the standard in which I style all my outfits. Gone is overspending on trends and hypes that I always end up hating only a few months down the road. I have become a lot more environmentally aware which again results in me really thinking through new purchases more carefully.

The past spring and summer my everyday wardrobe was mainly beige, ok yes, I will still hop on trends I love, hehe. At least it is quite a basic nuance that I see myself wearing throughout the year. These pants, are one of my favorite pair from the spring, that I´ll be wearing through autumn, and style with boots when the Scandinavian winter sets in. For summer I loved wearing beiges with white, but for fall I think it looks so cool combined with black. This shirt with its silky finish creates such a nice contrast to the linen texture in the pants. I always think about balance when putting together an outfit, in my opinion, it creates an interesting look, and even super basic pieces become exciting to put together with that in mind.

Thank you for dropping by Lilis!
